Fun House Festival is an immersive, child-centric arts festival. Our aim is to provide families with a unique opportunity to take part in hands-on, creative activities and workshops.
In 2018 the first Fun House Festival was launched. In total, 300 kids took part in up to 8 different drop-in arts activities with local artists and makers including screen printing, animation and 3D design.
In 2019, Fun House Arts CIC was formed. We are responsible for the management of this project, in partnership with St Mary in the Castle. Our goal is to create a vibrant programme of workshops and events which gives young people the chance to develop specialist creative arts and design-based skills.
CLARE TOMLINSON AND ANDREW DAVIES
Little Mashers is a kids clothing company run by husband and wife team Andrew Davies and Clare Tomlinson, who utilise their design backgrounds in graphic-illustration and product design to create unique interactive products and clothing for kids.
All of the products are designed, printed and produced by themselves in their studio/shop in St Leonards on Sea.
Over the last 5 years they have been running kids screen printing workshops in galleries, schools and at festivals. The workshops are designed to educate and equip kids with the skills and knowledge of simple screen printing processes, giving them freedom to explore the print medium and nurture the imagination.
